DNA Testing Funds

Many cold cases in Georgia contain untested or partially tested DNA—evidence that could identify a suspect, confirm a victim, or bring long-awaited answers to families. Unfortunately, local agencies often lack the budget to pursue advanced forensic testing, especially modern techniques like genetic genealogy or specialized lab analysis.

The DNA Testing Fund directly covers these costs. Your donations help:

  • Pay for forensic DNA testing and re-testing

  • Support advanced techniques such as genealogy and kinship analysis

  • Remove financial barriers that keep cases stuck in limbo

  • Fast-track cases that otherwise may never move forward

Every dollar brings a case closer to answers — and a family closer to closure.

Cold Case Awareness Campaign

Cold cases can only be solved when people know about them. Awareness leads to tips, renewed investigations, and community pressure for action.

Our Cold Case Awareness Fund supports outreach efforts that keep these cases visible and impossible to ignore.

Funds are used for:

  • Social media campaigns highlighting active cold cases

  • Paid promotions to reach wider audiences

  • Billboards featuring missing persons or unsolved homicides

  • Public awareness initiatives that encourage leads and engagement

This fund ensures that victims are not forgotten and that their stories continue to reach the people who may hold the missing piece.
